In the news this month: something deciphered, something discovered and something damaged. Here were the top three reports in biblical archaeology in February 2021.
If you follow biblical archaeology, you've likely seen the work of my next guest in the scholar's chair: Dr. Todd Bolen - the man behind BiblePlaces. Dr. Bolen took time to share with me about how his ministry began and what he's got planned for upcoming resources.
Here were the top reports in biblical archaeology for January 2021. The discoveries span over 2000 years, from the Bronze Age to the Byzantine Era, and include fragments of clothe, dyed "royal purple," which date to the time of King David.
Egyptologist, Dr. Charles F. Aling, is my next guest to sit in the virtual scholar's chair for an interview. He was gracious enough to answer some of my questions regarding people and events from Egypt, including Joseph, the Hyksos, and the Exodus.
