Over the past month several important studies were published related to the world of the Bible. Here were the TOP THREE REPORTS IN BIBLICAL ARCHAEOLOGY IN APRIL 2023.
NEW BLOG SERIES: In this new series I'll be weighing the evidence for a variety of controversial artifacts in biblical archaeology. We'll start with the infamous James Ossuary. Most people's knowledge of this bone box comes from the incomplete, outdated, and biased Wikipedia article, or from 2003, when the Israel Antiquities Authority declared it a forgery. Since then there have been new developments. I believe it's time to take another look at the James Ossuary's authenticity.
